The Lone Pepper Duo will be playing live for us on Wednesday, December 2 and Friday, December 11 from 8.45pm.
We have heard great things about them from people who saw them perform at the old Bar des Arts venue and we’re sure they’re going to go down extremely well with our own audiences.
Alessandro Gugel, from the duo, said: “We can’t wait to be one of the first few bands to play at the brand new Kokomo bar. It is a great opportunity for us to play for some new faces so we hope lots of people come along for what looks set to be a great night.
“On the night we’ll be playing a collection of hits from the 1960s right through to the modern day, with our own unique twist.”
Alessandro and Frank Bowyer both studied at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and have been playing the guitar since childhood.
They formed in 2010 to earn money busking in Guildford and carried on to attend open mic nights in the Surrey area. They previously hosted open mic nights at Bar des Arts before moving to Gran Canaria and performing live six nights a week.
