The super talented singer-songwriter, Madi Lane, who has appeared on two BBC Radio One Live Lounges, will be performing live for us on December 9 from 8.45pm.

The Lone Pepper Duo will be playing live for us on Wednesday, December 2 and Friday, December 11 from 8.45pm.
We’re a new cocktail and live music bar called Kokomo opening in Guildford in early December (2015) complete with resident mixologists and party food provided by a top London chef. Our upmarket venue looks set to launch on Friday, December 4 at the former Bar des Arts site opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Millbrook.
We’ve refurbished and updated the premises significantly, and aim to have the bar completed for early December, creating something unique to Guildford with a real ‘London feel’. We are planning a soft launch initially, which will be predominantly for friends and family, and will then have our grand launch on December 4, in time for the run into Christmas and the winter party season.
As a cocktail and live music venue, we will be open daily from 5pm until 2am, excluding Sundays, which is from 5pm until midnight.
Food is also on our menu including charcuterie and cheese platters. For Christmas we are organising hot food menus for parties on request via an excellent chef called Aneke Spacie, formerly at The Ivy in London
Pop by and you can hear some fantastic acoustic bands from Guildford and surrounding areas and on Sundays we will have Jazz bands playing from 5pm.
Aaron Hibbert, our General Manager, and his expert mixologist team have devised a whole host of impressive cocktails including a ‘Porn Star Martini’ – perfect for James Bond fans, ‘Jacks Jam’ and the ‘Kokomo Spritz’ for guests to try from the launch night onwards.
We aim to become one of Guildford’s most sophisticated night spots, creating a venue where people can see a range of live music while also enjoying champagne and cocktails.

We’ve got a fabulous resident mixologist crew already in situ but we’re still looking for more people wishing to train as specialist bartenders with us. If you would like to apply for one of our bartending, back bar or waiting staff roles, please get in touch ASAP.

Now we’re looking to employ a further 10 or more staff to help with our upmarket venue and provide our customers with the very best food, drinks and customer service.
We will provide some food too including charcuterie and cheese platters and are looking for at least three waiting staff. People can pre-book booths and tables for birthday parties or other celebrations, so we expect to be very busy.
